So i just got off the phone with Banks and they are telling me that there gauge can only read ethanol for the ecoboost cars. Now I'm confused does it work or not?

Yes it works!

Bottom left is reading ethanol. Someone at Banks gave you bad information.

Yes, you would need the flex fuel sensor.

It only connects to the ALDL OBD-II port.

Where were you able to source the A/C vent pod with the idash gauge? I keep seeing other combos like P3 gauge in that pod, or aeroforce top vent gauge/pod

Long story on the pod so this is the results of my research. I bought a couple of these pods from various sources. After not getting the results I needed, I created a solid model using Fusion 360. Saved the model as a STL file, and sliced it in Cura. First print was done with PLA and it deformed because of the heat. Second print was done with ABS and it works fine now.

I also printed one like SMG sells using a STL I found on Thingiverse and that wasn’t close to working because it was a sloppy fit.

Here’s some threads on the pod. First link is a pod I purchased the was for an AEM and not iDash. Second link is for the pod I made. I’m also including the dimensions for the one I printed.

I do not thankfully, as I spend enough on stupid tech shit as is with my drones, computers, etc. I am a Cloud DevOps Engineer though and have wanted to venture into it but I have zero creativity to design a solution to a problem.

Nah, not the items I want to install to try out 3d printing for the first time. I just dropped a TON of money to get the car supercharged in the coming weeks. Back to Ramen noodles mode for now lol.
