Different pad in 171-1192 box?

I received a set of 23399101 (171-1192) front brake pads and they look different. They appear to have less or no copper in the pad. The brembo numbers on the the backing plates are different too.
They came in a correctly marked box, only difference in the boxes that I noticed is that the leaf sticker has 3 filled in leaves, previous box has only one. Also the new setup came with what I assume are electronic wear indicators.

Are these the BCD, copper free pads that were most likely put in the wrong box???
Did GM/brembo stop making the non BCD pads?

Probably an honest packaging mistake, the original brake pads with copper have not been discontinued as far as I know.

I can't see the stamped IDs on the backing plates in the photos. The copper free BCD would be stamped BRM0023 as they are a Brembo manufactured pad.

The typical ZL1 copper content pad is made by Ferodo and is stamped HP1000.

The wear sensor BCD pads are used on the Blackwing CT5 iron rotor BCD brakes. But I believe the pads can be used on the BCD equipped Camaros, the user would just throw out the wear sensors.

Yeah, somethings odd there. It looks like a BCD backing plate but the pad material shape (lack of taper) is different than what I pulled off of my BCD equipped '22 SS 1LE. It is possible the CT5 BW uses a BCD pad that does not have the taper.

I would think that GM would not just spec the Brembo BRM0023 BCD pad for part # 171-1192. Their practice has been to make a part # change when there is a component spec change, for whatever reason. But, the different colored leaf with the "N" designation would be correct for the BCD copper free. So maybe right box but wrong part # sticker for the BCDs. Where did you purchase them from?

Also take note that the radius on the inner length (the side that would be near the rotor hat) of the BCD pad is a shorter radius. This is a result of a wider annulus of the pad vs the typical ZL1 Ferodo HP1000.

I did a bit of research, I believe the BCD pads you have, with the wear sensors, could be the Cadillac CT5 Blackwing fronts, part #85153477

Interesting on the BRM0029, I wonder if the CT5 BW has a different compound than the Camaro BCDs. The temp codes are different than the Camaro BCDs too.
