Katech Breakthrough LT Direct Injection Technology - 1000 RWHP Capable

Check this out. Might be a good answer for the big builds.

Too bad there's still no reasonably priced fueling option besides meth.

Only 4500... But as I see it, this might be the best option available.

Pretty much everything direct injection costs an arm and a leg so far. I'm not surprised by the price of the system and Katech does good work.

Great idea, its actually a really simple concept, its a "lobe box" with a high psi pump bolted to it. completely adjustable with pulley and pumps

So they are saying that as long as you can provide the air, this fuel system is good to 1200whp on straight E85? No cam, no injectors, no Lowside, no Meth.

If that's the case, then this mod is a no brainer.

How is it possible that the lowside pump wouldn't require upgrading? I would surely think the lowside would not keep up with those power numbers. Inquiring minds.

Intrigued and subscribed.

We need that early in the HP game because the little LT4 is already turning so fast we need the meth to cool the charge down?

So where on a build would it be wise to go with meth? I was hoping to add enough hp to my LT4 to push my A10 into the 10s some of the time and leave a stock appearance.

Is using E85 instead without pushing the timing another option?

Of course fueling is another matter with DI.

Sorry for the diversion.

E85 has a higher octane rating than pump gas but you need to flow about 30% more of it to make the power. The stock fuel system simply can’t deliver enough fuel to take advantage of it fully. Meth is used to primarily cool the intake charge, when you start spinning the tiny blower much past stock, the cooling bricks just can’t keep up and iat’s go through the roof, meaning timing is pulled up top to protect the engine from detonation. The more you run it the higher the iat’s go.

You should be able to easily get into the 10’s with headers & exhaust, intake, pulley and a good tune. No e85 or meth required.

That would be too simple. I just don't see the need for a secondary injection system if this pump can handle all that. But if it is true, and they make the brackets for a Camaro, put me down for a twin turbo kit.

Might have to do a little more research into this as I think the Mustangs are running a similar aux injection pump on the 18s to be able to make huge HP.

Maybe if I sent Al O chocolates, he'll put the LT5 in the future ZL1's.
