TPMS install 13598787

Does anyone know the inch-lbs required for this sensor (aftermarket rim). 35 in-lbs maybe? Any install video/manual available? Thanks!

The OEM sensors i have seen have the torque value printed on them. If they do not, i would torque them to 40 inch lbs. Make sure the body of the sensor lays flat against the barrel of the wheel.

Follow up question... when I ordered 13598787 off of Amazon, it didnt include the outer stem nut. Does anyone know a part # for that? I could only find a maintenance kit with stem/cap etc.

The 13598787 did come with the cap and valve already.

Just a follow up, the gm part # is 13581557 " TPMS Sensor Valve" and it was $4 at the dealer

http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oe-gm/13581557 ($2.37 here)

Also the service dept told me the torque value is 89 in-lbs.. seems a little high. But I verified with him it was for the 16 camaro. Anyone have a service manual?!

Has anyone experienced a different torque value? 89 does seem significantly high for these things.

It's in inch-pounds, not foot-pounds.
