For another reference, the day I was at the track failing to launch, another guy was there with a bone stock A10 regular ZL1 (non-1LE) and ran an 11.7 @ 124MPH with ~7000 DA.

If your time slip is the max the car is capable of (read; great DA, as good of a launch as it could muster, etc.), yes it is slow.
Bleed the system. Also, check bypass valve. Make sure you have good gas in it. Put it on a dyno. If it's less than I'd say 530 RWHP, something isn't right. I think you'll have all the power that engine is capable of at 1200 miles. I don't know any engine builder who considers 10,000 miles to be necessary for full capability either. Even if it wasn't broken in all the way, the difference wouldn't be nearly the one full second or nearly 10 MPH you're after... Last edited by Can'tHave2MuchHP; 07-08-2019 at 04:30 PM. |

To the folks that have suggested looking at the intercooler loop and bleeding it, I can't recommend taking a look at the ADM reservoir (or similar from other companies) highly enough.
I went out and beat the car for 8 x 20-30 minute sessions on Friday (I have the ADM setup) in 85-90 degree heat at 5200' elevation (lower density air is hard on radiative cooling systems too, lowers their efficiency) and it never skipped a beat, full power was always available. |

I’m with unavailable that your engine isn’t broken in yet not with only 1200 miles! They do tend to get faster as more miles are put on the car!

I agree re: SS trap speed. It's a bit slow.
Throwing a datalogger on the car will be worthwhile to see what torque the engine is putting out, whether it's pulling timing for KR or IATs or ???, throttle plate, when it's shifting, etc. |

You only picked up 20mph from the 1/8th to the big end. You sure you didn't lift before the lights?

This is the best I've been able to do so far. 2019 A10 with about 2,500kms on PS4S's which I've heard arent as good at the strip. My 60 foot sucks. Need to work on it. (I'm left. Didn't run 13 lol)

You need to look for air in the IC cooling. My 2012 ran a 12.18 at about 118 with just a rotofab and me spinning at launch with heat soak. It had more in it but I didn’t launch it too well. I could see the lackluster ETs, but the trap speed should have been higher even with wheel spin at launch.

And my BRAND NEW 2019 Zl1 A10 is running a whopping 9.2 0-100 about 2 seconds slower then a normal working Zl1 and about .2 seconds faster then a BONE STOCK Camaro SS! What am I supposed to do? go to the dealer and tell them its slow?

If your car is slow, it's not because they accidentally forgot your supercharger. Check for air in the cooling system. Check for vacuum leaks. Get the car dyno'd (this will tell you the most). I'm sure you'll find the car is fine and you just need more practice. Remember, you can't compare your times to other ZL1s without considering temp and elevation. Good luck!
