7000 rpm launch with drag radials only to run an 11:90s, the Boss would do the same with alot less drama on launch. Sorry but I am not impressed a Scatpack will do the same with DRs launching at 1200-rpms. This new Camaro should better these times.

Well, the car isn't designed for drag racing. It's been said a billion times.

Same transmission name. Not necessarily same internal components. GT350's transmission has been highly upgraded.

True. A boss would walk my 2012 SS. But the Boss couldn't hold a candle to the Z/28.

The GT350 is set up as even more of a road course car then the Boss 302 was, and it weighs more...plus the Boss 302 had a live axle, as shitty as they are, they are good for drag racing. And let's be real, 99% of Boss 302's will not run 11's, even with a tire, but it will be more common for GT350's I am willing to bet.

As far as the Scat Pack running 11.90's with just a tire...that must be in mine shaft DA? I've seen probably over 20 of those run, and I personally know a few owners who run theirs, in some cases with more then a tire too. And in good air, I've never seen anything better then low 12's (12.20's).

Two things you have to remember about newmoon.
1. He only drives in straight lines.
2. Any hero run posted by a Mopar on the internet is de facto standard for which all Mopar's run, all day, every day.
