ZZP Performance V.S Turbo Bay Turbo
Hey Everyone. So I’ve been looking at turbos and I’m stuck between ZZP Performance and Turbo Bay Stage 2. I know that the Turbo Bay Turbo is a modified stock turbo. I want the one that gives me the most power. Which one would do that?

The ZZP ZFR is your best solid warrantied bet hands down. But it will cost you however they include everything in the kit for install so you won't be out a turbo or waiting for small things that can come up. Personally I'd wait for the Z54 to be released however you can quite easily mount any TD04 Aftermarket Turbos from the larger manufacturer's without much issue.

If you are going for the most power with bolt on.. ZFR..and if you don't want to pay that price, wait for the Z54. I installed the ZFR in about 5 hours and if you use zzp to tune, they will have a tune setup for your mods. I didn't really have any downtime

With any luck, the Z54 will be ready by the time ZZP's sweet Black Friday/Cyber Weekend sales pop up!
I've heard great things from some Cobalt guys that have ZZP's Z54 |
