Trifecta Tune

Wanted to share some results from my in house dyno tune by Vince, the owner of Trifecta. I have to say, I feel very fortunate to have a company that supports our platform the way they do local to me. They are doing some very cool, innovative things at their shop for the 2.0 LTG. Vince and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them.

The blue line is their "base" tune that I already had and the red line is the in house dyno tuning result by Vince. This is considered their "elite" package that they can remote tune as well. I didn't feel like we needed to do a stock base line pull.

Wow!! What a big difference from the email tune. This is a torque monster! Torque right at the mid range. I have always had Trifecta in all of my GM vehicles. Please share what cost you have invested with your mods.

I bought everything either on sale, with a discount code or black Friday specials every year. Patience is key!!

*This is roughly what I remember what I paid for:
ZZP Catted Downpipe $200 (Black Friday)
ZZP 67mm Throttle Body $100 (Black Friday)
ZZP Throttle Body NPT Spacer $80 (Black Friday)
Mishimoto Intake Tube $100 (Mishimoto Points)
Mishimoto Charge Pipes $400 (Mishimoto Points)
Mishimoto Pro Cat-Back Quad Tip Exhaust $1100 (15% off Discount Code)
Mishimoto Coolant Reservoir Tank $75! (Amazon - price screw up!)
aFe Air Filter $50 (10% off Discount Code)
PTP Turbo Blanket $200 (10% off Discount Code)
Jack-Fab Recirculation Valve $225 (no sale or codes for this part)
Trifecta Base Email Tune $300 (Black Friday)
Trifecta Elite Tune $200 (Paid the Black Friday Difference)

Right around $3030 for just engine related mods and tune.

Stock Wheel HP - 220?? (debatable)
Dyno Tune w/$2955 in Mods (-$75 coolant tank) Wheel HP - 284
+64HP Difference Over Stock
Roughly $46 per HP gained...

We could have got more out of it for sure. I was more concerned with the power and torque delivery curve than absolute max HP. I also wanted to keep it on the safe side because I plan on tracking the car. I am extremely pleased with the way the car drives now. Next step is their upgraded TD04 turbo.
