Zr1chris, Our E2-X system will stop up to 85% of this. We are unable to stop all as some forms from the back filling of spent exhaust gasses to emulate the old EGR valves function. Now done with valve/cam timing events.
Our system addresses both points of ingestion, the foul/dirty PCV side and the fresh/clean side where most ignore. Combine this with the most effective design on the market (more than twice most others) and you have the best possible current solution. |

Are you referencing the pictures of the 117k mile engine that's got quite a bit of carbon built up or the 14k mile engine that's got quite a bit of carbon built up?

hmmm, i'll have to disagree that after 117k that's a lot of buildup especially in comparison to the horror shots that are shown ... but that's ok

I have asked this same question multiple times on this forum. They have time to sit down and write an dissertation on how they have the Holy Grail of catch cans but can't take 5 minutes to write an install sheet. For this reason alone I would/will never buy an Elite product. Mighty Mouse Wild!!

People are pulling 1, 2, 5 ounces of gas/oil/water mixture out of their catch cans. The thing is, the vast majority of that would have been combusted in the cylinder, and most of the coking would have occurred when partially combusted gas/oil refluxes back out of the cylinder and onto the valves. Motors with catch cans STILL exhibit coking on valves, so how does anyone explain that?

mishimoto
I have 17000 miles on my mishimoto catch can. I have saved the oil in a water bottle sense I installed it. I have 6oz of oil in the water bottle so far after 17000 miles.
