Front tire fender gap fixed for 2018 with pics!

Looks like they fixed the large clearance between the top of the front tire and fender for 2018.

Anyone in the "know" have the part number change or how they fixed it?

UPDATED 8.10.17 2140hrs

Looks like almost one inch difference!!!

See belowwwwww...ZL1 built after April 12, 2017 have the 2nd design springs...

Quote:
#17-NA-208: Front Trim Height is too High - (Jun 26, 2017)

2017 ZL1 from SOP (start of production) to April 12, 2017

Involved Region or Country
North America, Middle East

Additional Options
Equipped with ZL1 Package and Special Ride and Handling Suspension (RPO FE4)

Condition
Some customers may comment that the front trim height is too high.

Cause
This may be due to the previous design front springs.

Correction
Replace the front springs to allow the vehicle to be at normal trim height.
2018 cars are more than likely built with these updated springs.

That bulletin makes it sound like GM will replace the springs on all previous ZL1's if the customers ask. Interesting.

Is that a TSB? Will dealer fix it?

So I take my October 17 build Zl1 to the dealer and complain the front is sitting too high? I have the worst luck with TSB's and the dealer.

October 2017 hasn't happened yet...LOL

Do you mean an October 2016 built 2017 model year? Then yes.

Pretty much. There is a labor op for vehicles during bumper to bumper warranty time frame if a customer brings their car in to a dealership for the concern of "Condition:
Some customers may comment that the front trim height is too high".

This makes me wonder about SS 1LE as well? Don't they use the same springs as ZL1?
