I was in the same boat as you, I had to remove PDR to get my car built. But I installed it within a month of taking delivery. It can be done. This is not a GM install, meaning GM does not provide info to add it later. This is a custom install using GM parts, either used or new. This should technically void the electrical warranty.

Here is a thread on it. It is more specific for the 17-18 models but go to post #236 to find out some info I provided on my '22 install.

So I put a order in for a 2023 2SS 1LE. I am still at 1100. So nothing after 4 months. Put in another order at a different dealership in September. Still nothing and still at 1100 at both. Now the first dealerships is telling me that my order Probably wont get picked up by GM because its a 2SS and the constraints on the 1LE package. Also telling me that no one has even gotten their 2022 2SS 1LE at all. So my question is...... Do I drop the Track package and maybe it will get picked up? Or just wait longer? I'm really feeling like the first dealership is just giving a line of BS. Does anyone know how many 2023 2SS 1LE Camaros they are building per week?

Unfortunately, you and me are in the same situation. Yes, people have gotten 2022 2SS 1LE cars and a few have gotten 2023 2SS 1LEs. You can wait and see if your order moves or attempt to find one from inventory. Neither option will guarantee you get a vehicle. If it helps, my order has been at 1100 for over six months.

I'd suggest trying to find one in transit somewhere. I too had a 2SS 1LE on order and was afraid of it not being built. Actually found 3-4 that were either in transit or on the lot not spoken for within 500 miles of me. I was looking for a specific color as well. Just went with the dealer that charged the least over MSRP.

They are building them and picking the orders up, the biggest issue is will those dealers you placed an order with get a allocation for a 2SS and 1LE option. Mine got picked up a few weeks ago.

Thank you for the info. I ordered the vivid orange metallic. Seems like there's all the colors but that one out there already built but that color. Unless I'm not looking or seeing in the right place.

Thats insane. It legit was not even 3months for mine to arrive at the dealership. a 23 2SS 1LE

8 weeks since my order went in. My 2SS has been #1 in line at my dealership for at least 3 weeks now. It's crazy. Hopefully the constraints will end soon and we can all start getting our cars.
