1/4 time guesses - Procharged Lt1

Hi fellas, P1x going on and just curious what you guys think it might run. Have custom tune and 305/45r17 R tires for the back if the street tread doesn’t hook up well. Tune will be around e50, stock pulley 7-8lb boost. We have good air around here. No weight reduction and no engine mods and stock exhaust

1/4 guess

I had almost the same set up back it 2018. My car ran 11.50 the only difference was I had a 18 rear on MT drag radial and my car was tuned on 93 pump gas. It made 560 hp on a dynojet. The best thing you can do for that set up is to have the trans tuned. You should should be able to get a high 10 or low 11 depending on traction.

I’ll have to buy a new tcm and have it tuned but it’s definitely a possibility down the road.

Low 11's on that little of boost with a stock converter and trans tune. you are only going to be making like 3 psi by 4500rpm. The 7-8psi pulley is really only like 4psi average. With stock converter I would pulley it down a couple sizes(10-11psi) so it makes more boost mid-range then shift it early so it doesn't make too much peak boost.

You'll face what every P or D ProCharger driver discovers. It's just not going to want to launch hard without an aftermarket converter. Especially on low boost. CJperformance will verify that for you, he's still stuck in the low 11s if I remember correctly. He's unlocked the trans also. You'll be lucky to see 1.70 60ft times without a converter. Good luck, hope I'm wrong and I got my fingers crossed for ya. Go for it.

I hope you guys are wrong lol. I’d definitely be disappointed if it didn’t go high 10’s with the sticky tires since it went multiple 11.6x’s with a lt2 intake only and street tires

No one wants to see anyone go slow after they have spent their hard earned money on mods. If it runs 10s I will gladly say I was dead wrong, when do you plan on going for the first time? I know our track is opening for TNT the 18th of March. So now you have to make me a believer.

I will lol. I know where you are coming from though. When I started doing research I didn’t see many impressive times with the Procharged cars. We’re gonna change that tho

I went 10.84@130 w 1.8 60 ft in Nov. Mods in sig. 4.13 pulley, shift at 6900rpm peak boost was around 10psi. I think it would do 10.5 in 1/4 but still had some torque management issues in first gear to work out.

The torque management issue is/was destroying my launch. Hopefully fixed now. We'll see.

Trap speed tells me there's more power to be had so adding port inj and will pulley down this year and see if i can tickle the low 10s.

Pffft we'll show those PD guys with their flat boost curves and low IATs whats up!
