Looks like the 2.0 turbo gets it's own manual, as there's nothing in this
one, for the 2.0.
Or a new manual with all 3 engines, will be coming out in the spring...

Wow.. that's a lot!

I'm also surprised the coolant capacity for the LT1 is listed "with" and "without" auxiliary cooler. I wasn't aware there were any optional coolers for the LT1.

Is the skip shift... Only on V8s or V6 too... Also with the skip shift eliminator will it void the warranty?...

The "Track Events and Competitive Driving" section starting on p. 189 is interesting!

Speaking of canned tunes, on the Z51 Stingray LT1, dynoed at 412 rwhp and 410 lb-ft of torque, DiabloSports canned tune upped that to 432 rwhp and 442 lb-ft of torque. (Source)
Why would you want to void your powertrain warranty for 20 HP????

Only if you do it with a new calibration or physically cutting wires. The famous quote from GM in the 80's was, "whatever you do, don't cut the wire" wink.

I thought the 2015 had 19 gallons of fuel and the Gen6 was down to 16?

For all you CAGS haters, you really can just learn to drive the car just a bit differently and you'll never know you have it.

I've driven a lot of cars with CAGS and all you have to do is pull down to the neutral gate, wave the shift lever all the way to the right and then back left and down. I agree no CAGS would be better, but if aren't driving hard (which also is a very fun way to not get "gated") this has always worked for me. It's just a slight hesitation in the shift motion.

That's not the point. CAGS was created because of CAFE and the insipid government policies on emissions and economy. Why the buck should I change my driving habits "just a bit" because of the govt.? But I digress.

I do, in fact, appreciate GM for creating it and thus avoiding the gas guzzler tax. GM makes it easy to override, and it's the first modification I'm doing to my Camaro the day I drive it home from the lot before I go to bed that night. I'd bring the cable with me and do it at the dealer if they'd let me use their lift.

They should go 7500 miles or longer. So the oil changes will be pricey but not as often. Mobile 1 is good for that distance, at least.

BMWs are going 15,000 miles between oil changes now.

Ask them, they'd probably install it for you, gratis. I know my dealer would.

For me, I'd rather tune it out with an HP Tuners or DiabloSport kit, that way I don't even get the indicator on the dash. That being said, its very rare that I actually get gated, at least on my 5th gen. I think I rev up a little higher in RPM range before shifting than it expects, so I often pass CAGS speed/rpm before I shift.
