2017 2LT Seattle........

Have a 17' on order, built 6/8/16, 4B00 status, waiting for shipping to happen. I noticed one person from Oak Harbor on this forum, but wondering if any other 6th Generation drivers out there in Washington State. Looking forward to driving the Camaro over to the Olympic Peninsula, Pacific Ocean beaches, San Juan Islands, North Cascades Hwy. over to Eastern Washington, Mt. Rainier. In October going to take it down to North San Diego county to visit relatives. Any other Gen6 owners or orderers out there in the PNW?

Hey kahbear!

How do you like the 17'? I don't see many Gen 6s around here, but every so often...

Hope you're having as good of time with it as I am with my 16'

I have a 2016 1 LT I bought in June. Love the car but I have only seen one other Gen 6 while commuting to work. I'm averaging 31 mpg on a regular basis, I can't complain about that.

Have you been on the Ridge with the car yet? I've been to the last two track nights out there and what a blast. I was the only Gen 6 but plenty of Gen 5s and Mustangs galore...

No I haven't been to the ridge yet even though it's only a few miles from me. I only have the 4 cyl turbo so i probably won't be taking it on the track. I definitely want to go check out the facilities and observe the action at some point soon.

Pfft our little 4-Cylinders aren't that bad on the track we're nearly 700 lbs. lighter and very nimble on a road course.

I don't think the car matters. Lot's of fun no matter what you drive and besides, the turbo is no slouch. I got to drive one as a loaner a few months ago and I was impressed.

In any case it's good to hear from another local Camaro owner, maybe I'll see you out there some day.

Saw this last time I was out there:

Oh nice I guess I'll have to try it sometime. I didn't realize people took vehicles like the smart car out there. I usually see Ferraris, corvettes, Porsches and lotus's headed out to the ridge.

Just bought mine last month and love the car. It's just the base model 1LT V6 M6 Mosaic black but it suits me just fine. I've tinted the windows and plastidipped the wheels so far. Haven't seen too many gen6 owners out in my area either, Renton/Seattle.

Sharp car, perfect color. Looks very nice. I like the wheels a bunch.

I'll be looking for ya. I commute from Tacoma to Issaquah 2 or 3 days a week and drive right through Renton (either on 405, 167, sometimes 900 depending on traffic).
