Anti siphoning valve?
So,
My gas in the tank is getting a bit old so… instead of running the tank empty, I thought I would be smart and just siphon most of it out. The hose never did get as far down in the tank to reach the gas, and now there seems to be a little valve just below the flapper on the tank filler that wont let go of my hose, and im not able to move it with a screw driver. Help! |

Why not use the fuel pump to drain the tank?

What are the steps to do this?
Do you jump it in the fusebox or relay or use hptuners? Where do you disconnect the line?

Nope, there is a secondary flapper valve that is pinching the tube closed and it wont budge open even with the help of a screwdriver.

cut up and bend straight a clothes hanger (non-painted) and see if you can send it down to jiggle it loose?

Your hose may be snagged on the secondary valve, while pushing the screwdriver in push the hose in a slight bit and see if the valve releases...

I tried that and that hose wont move in our out. Its that second flapper valve about an inch behind the main flapper valve, that just wont budge open.
