I agree %100! Got my hitch installed 2nd week after I got my Camaro. Also had a hitch on my previous car which was a BMW.

Also for those curious or interested - I bought the 24938
Draw-Tite which DOES NOT require cutting into the bottom of the fender (unlike the curt/gm hitch)

Can you take some more pictures from different angles? The one I had on my old SS was really tucked out of the way, yet I never had a problem with it. If you see in the other thread, the T2 really "rises" up and out of the way rapidly as it goes further back. Of course, when you learn to drive with the ground-effects package, you pretty much eliminate any issues, because you would have ripped the front air-dam/splitter off before you scrape the rack anyway. Would like some more pictures from the side, above, etc, if you are so willing. Thanks.

Hello,

You are not alone with wanting the bicycle hitch. I had my local welding shop cut off the smaller socket and weld on the 2 inch socket so all of my attachments would still fit. They did a great job of putting it on.

Kindest,

Donner

Yeah...pretty much how I feel about it. Besides, I plan on keeping this one until I can't drive anymore. Then one of my kids gets it.

I think there are ski racks that attach to a hitch no? That might be an option - vs a roof rack.

I need one for my car, too. Tough to find one that fits a convertible.
