I4 Power Levels?
For those who are actually doing real tunes on these cars, how much power are you seeing? I plan on purchasing an I4 Camaro as a fun daily driver and just wondering if it's as tuneable as my Golf R.
Now, that being said, I do have the Stage 3+ package which has a twin scroll turbo and Euro fueling added, and it's making 473hp at all four wheels and over 400 ft-lbs of torque. (About 520 crank HP.) I think it would be fun doing the same with a 4 pot Camaro as well. |

I made a little over 310 to the wheels with bolt ons and 93 octane. Running low 12's. Catless downpipe, jacfab recirc valve and a good tune is the meat of the gains on this car. Hopefully e85 will be out soon.

300 to 310whp and 370wtq is what 93 and full bolt-ons should get you. Adding better internals and a bigger turbo is the next step. There's a few builds with 350whp running E85 and Meth. I think there's only 1 over 500whp right now.

Your doomed. Don't get this. No only kidding. There is no possible way you will do better than a AWD at the strip at stage 1 or 2 tunes. It will take a radical tune and not many here have gone there, except for shop cars. So you probably want to just segue to the major factories getting mondo quotes for your uber 400 + number. peace out.

I see you live in Delaware. I'm in Dover should you care to test drive a tuned bolt on M6 I4

To reiterate what everyone else has said, just over 300 with bolt ons and 93.
My car made 245whp/283tq completely bone stock. Bolt ons and a 93 tune it made 285whp/320tq, and now on an E blend and full bolt ons (stock turbo) it makes 325/375. I think mine's at a great level now for driving every day, and I take it to the road course quite a bit. Good for low 12's.

Definitely a fun car and with mods its even better as mentioned it isn’t the fastest thing on earth but honestly we are still faster than a decent percentage of road going cars
