CEL after 95mm tb and rotofab install

Over the weekend I installed a 95mm tb (with the soler performance adapter) and a rotofab intake and my car is throwing 2 lean codes, p0174 and p0171. It was under my interpretation that these 2 items wouldn’t need a tune and shouldn’t be an issue installed on a stock car?

Someone had a similiar issue. I recommended to verify your ECM is communicating with the TB. If the ECM is attempting to pull codes for the LT1 but you have a TB for something else, that maybe something to take in for consideration. Idk if that was the issue with other person but he went MIA and the topic just got pushed back

How could I verify that?

I'd say just double check the part# with soler and confirm that the TB you have is designed for the LT1

If it is, then I'd look into deleting the code, disconnect the battery for 20min. Drive around an take it from there.

If your car is tuned already. And the TB was put on AFTER the tune, then it might be possible it may have to get tuned again with the new TB, but I'm not sure

This might sound like a stupid question, but do you think it’s a possibility that these codes are coming from me possibly not putting the pcv line back on correctly?
Putting it back to stock for now since car shut off on me while driving

Go back over install and check for air leaks between the intake manifold and the maf sensor.

You have lean codes, so it is getting extra air from somewhere. You are getting the codes because it is getting so much extra it can't correct the situation.
Air leak is after the MAF somewhere.
The PCV is definitely a candidate, particularly if you altered it.

When I installed the rotofab I had to connect the pcv to the new intake tube, and I’m thinking I must’ve installed it incorrectly or not completely

So, I found the source, it seems that I forgot to tighten a couple bolts…

Code cleared?
it's amazing how much air can get in through a small crack.
