Cool premise, and a great idea, but you gotta drop the accent. It was just painfully grating.

It's not for everybody. Couple local people I've talked to today have seen it and thought it was hilarious, even with the cheesy accent.

It's not something I'll do all the time. Probably very rarely.

Here's a car related video to make up for it, if you haven't already seen it.

Just some constructive criticism bud! I really want to see more, just without the accent. It's a very cool idea, and I definitely appreciate the amount of time it took!

Hey Jason, I just skimmed through the thread and what not, have you any thoughts on doing a port fuel injection kit for the LTG, like what is available aftermarket for the 2.0 and 2.3 ecoboost (or more recently, the LT5 and updated 5.0L in the Mustang). Maybe a configuration similar to your meth set up, but with slightly different components?

Just a thought. I can't imagine that wouldn't sell like fire.

Maybe at some point? I know people are always complaining about fueling, but honestly I only can think of a small handful of cars near or over 400hp that might actually need it. Everyone else shouldn't even be close to needing more fuel, (unless trying to go E85 only)... At some point if I run out of fuel, I will research the idea.

What is? The "smart" electronic water pump, or the fuel thing above?

Will be recording another video tonight, the new bigger pump motor shows up today via UPS.

The "smart" pump! Good stuff for sure. I will be watching....

Not that the fuel stuff is a bad ideal, but I think the better thing to do there would be exploring your previously mentioned thoughts on a HPFP, that the average Joe can easily do themselfs. Plus it should/would cover 90+% of most builds fueling needs I would think.

I've got several different ideas to solve fueling via the HPFP BS, just need to play with them when the time comes.

One coming real soon, is nothing new, grinding the cam lobe to take advantage of the extra stroke the HPFP has available. Although, more so than already being done elsewhere. I should have this new set of cams back within a couple weeks I guess, as of yesterday, the cam shop was writing a program to do the fuel lobe on the cam.

We attempted to video the water pump thing last night, but it wasn't great. Good news is the new motor seems to have more than enough power to run at full speed, but our ghetto test rig is so unstable that we simply can't just hold the motor in our hands anymore. With all the extra torque/power available in the new motor, its literally destroying the rubber lovejoy coupler after running for just 30-120 seconds at full power. We got enough data to know what we need to know, so the next step will be machining a new impeller and cover that the motor will adapt to so we can do away with the ghetto lovejoy coupler to the stock water pump shaft.

So is the goal ultimately to free up some power by using the electric pump like in most setups using e-pumps?
