Made the trip back out to NOLA last weekend with NASA! Unfortunately, I only got 4 dry sessions out of 8 scheduled due to a Mustang hitting the wall at the end of the out lap causing a red flag that ended one session and a wet track during all of the Sunday sessions except for the first one, but it was still a fun trip and I knocked just over a second off of my previous fastest lap time. Unfortunately, I forgot to start the PDR recording at the beginning of that session but thankfully I had a backup dashcam and Harry's Lap Timer with 10Hz GPS that was within 0.02 seconds of the PDR's lap times on the next session when they were set to approximately the same start/finish line. I have been getting more comfortable with catching slides this year and had several in turn 3 and on the exit of turn 14 that brings you towards pit in, plus this big one entering turn 4. I put some additional notes in the YouTube video descriptions.

Mods = Track alignment (camber: -2.3° front, -1.4° rear, toe: 0° front, +0.05° rear per side [+0.10° total rear toe]), StopTech STR 600 DOT 4 brake fluid, StopTech Sport Brake Pads (309.14050 front, 309.17180 rear, very similar feel to stock pads but more pedal pressure is required for equivalent braking force which I am still getting used to), GM plastic track brake cooling deflectors. Traction/stability control fully disabled, track mode with touring steering mode.

Brake pads note: I was already seeing about 2mm of taper top to bottom with a little over 50% pad material remaining on the fronts after about 5 hours of track driving (much worse than I ever saw with stock brake pads) so I swapped the pads inside to outside on each front caliper with no ill effects...hopefully that will even out the taper so they last longer. The 1:57.29 lap was at the end of the session right after I did the pad swap.

Left my SD card for PDR at home so just have trackaddict data for the afternoon after borrowing an sd card in the am - morning runs were 1:25s on PDR with full fuel load and lower temps (upper 40s) vs. 50s and sunny in afternoon with a higher speed carried into back straight and turn 1 which cut down a good chunk of time -- impressive that Randy Pobst got 1:20 flat in this car stock. Don't think the corner by corner on Trackaddicts is that good but the start/finish times seemed to track overall
