3m vhb is the stuff. On a hot day, use the adhesive promoter and alcohol to clean the windsheild. Mine came up when I didnt do the above. It seems to be holding now after three weeks.
Btw the company was very nice and sent me replacement adhesive when it came up the first time. Great little mod and part. Well worth the cost.

I saw this on ebay a while back but never went for it. It really does look good. The real question is if I go black or paint it to match the garnet red. I would love to get this in the matte black like my rims but I think he only sells it in gloss black.

Glad I saw this thread again. I forgot about that thing. Had it in the garage waiting for good weather. Going to pull the car into the driveway and lay the spoiler on the asphalt for an hour or two, and then install it. Just checked - it has the 3M VHB tape.

they offer a non painted one for $26.99.
It looks to be a flat black color. That's what i want. Worse case I can just paint it matte black.

I sent an email to the seller and he told me it comes with 3M tape. He said you really need to clean the glass.

Ordered! Getting mine this Thursday. I ordered from Ebay, also available on Amazon, but without free shipping. Great value for a nice subtle look, hopefully I can install it properly LOL

the tape it comes with is garbage. lasted maybe a day. peeled it off and cleaned the window like a maniac again, and put 3m outdoor on it. hasnt budged.

When i purchased mine a while back it didn't say 3M on the tape so i assume many complained and the seller ended up using some real tape finally.... LOL

Another thing: "anatomy of a failure"
When mine came loose after six months , I noticed that a significant amount of dirt had permeated the foam front leading edge, and once it got underneath, it it just drove more dirt between the surfaces. So press down the front leading edge of the tape, to insure success. |

WHen I get mine in I will see if it is really 3M tape. I should buy some tape now incase it is not. What is a good width tape for this?
