Bingo^^^^ my biggest complaint. Why the hell did they put the shifter on the floor. Totally blocks knee mobility and there is a manual shift button on the side too. I also didn't like the feel of the center panels of the seat. Sort of a cheap plastic feel. Other than that it was awesome. I don't really need the back seat so still want to check out the other trims. CGM was a good color though.

Thanks for posting the photos! Yeah, I agree, besides the look, those light gray waffle-looking cloth inserts in the seats look like they'd get dirty really quick.

That's the seats the Z71 gets. The others are different.

But I want the Z71... Guess I'll have to check out the other seats and the extended cab version. Not going to rush this one. Will wait a couple months and shop a bit.

i think the way the shifter with the side button is positioned is a bigger hazard than the keys dangling of the ignition on the Camaro

When I'm building these on the Chevy/GMC site I'm still puzzled at why when adding the 3.6 v6 option, I have to remove the compact 18" spare? Add the spare back in and you're forced to remove the 3.6 |

I was thinking exactly the same thing and wondering how long before there would be a recall on that.

Same here, I'm going to get the Z71. I might end up having the centers reupholstered with a matching piece of leather or vinyl, whatever's on the outside edges of the seats. I'm really hoping they'll make the LT black leather interior available as an option to the Z71.

My guess is that it has something to do with payload/weight. Removing the spare 'frees up' 50 lbs or so, which then gets added directly to the payload capacity.

Same here Mark, and after sitting in it the shifter is really in the way to the point that I'm starting to open my search to other daily drivers. Maybe when pulled back into drive it won't be quite as bad.
