So I don't doubt that I could pull off a 23 or 24mpg average with the new 2015 4wd model.

Nice, it looks like you sat in it? Did the shifter position/location feel awkward? I'm fairly certain when I bought my first 2010 1SS back in 4/10 I paid the exact same price of $32465.00... Funny.
