OK with some extra time on my hands this Sunday, I decided to give this a try.

Wish I would have re-read this post first as I tried to remover the shroud without removing the hood latch. Anyway try to expand on what FoundNemo said.

Step 1) Remove hood latch and let hang (2 arrows). I used a 13MM ratcheting wrench and it worked well.

Step 2) Remove the circled 10mm bolts, torx bolts, and plastic clips.

Step 3) Remove shroud. It comes off pretty easy with a little bit of lifting on the front bumper.

Step 4) Remove 3 plastic clips that hold the plastic ‘blocker’ in place.

This was the most annoying part of the whole thing. After using every pry tool and flat head I had I removed the top clip and middle right clip, but it seemed to take forever. After messing around with the bottom clip for too long, I just stuck some big scissors down there and cut it.

Here are some pictures that hopefully make this make more sense.

If I could just add 1 helpful tip to these instructions. The bolts holding the hood latch are longer than expected. Using a long extention with socket and going through the grill to remove them and replace them was easier than trying to get your fingers in that little latch hole area. That is all.
