Help?
it simply replaces the oil cap.

Ted.

The LS3 seal is on and yeah the LT1 seal was all flappy and splooging oil.

The Metco cap goes on no problem to the oil cap but the ProCharger air filter elbow is in the way and you can't rotate it enough for everything to fit.

Anyone have any ideas how to make it fit as Ted states it should?

I was able to twist the procharger intake tube to the right enough that the metco breather would clear. It was a tight fit and you might have to play around with the depth of the filter on the end of the intake tube as well but should should be able to get it to work.

The only other option is to do what I did and pick up a spectre valve cover breather gromet which will fit the metco. 90 degree barbed 1in hose connector and trim to fit.

Then just relocate the metco filter wherever you want.

Post #57 in this thread of mine setup that way.

Thanks man, I was about to PM you to see if you had the part number for that.

I will try rotating the filter tube first then go with your solution.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but if I'm NA with forged internals and larger cam should I be at minimum using a metco breather? I already have a mishimoto catch can.

You should be find since your intake is always on vacuum. The metco or vented catch can is more for the boosted folk.

OK so I am thinking that I might try using the Mishimoto Catch Can that I have sitting on my shelf (that I haven't sold yet) as a catch can for my setup.

As an update, I have the Metco Check Valve Breather from JRE and the LS3 Front Crank Seal...I also have a ProCharger which has this long tube going from the PCV thingie on the top front passenger corner of the motor INTO the Air Filter.

My question is, is that the tube that I should be putting the catch can between? It seems to send smokey air to the air filter and I guess through the supercharger to the intercooler and into the intake.

I see a space that I could mount the Mishimoto Can that is right next to where this long tube runs so it "should" be easy enough to cut the tube and insert each end into the catch can.

Am I thinking this through correctly?

No. That hose that runs along the back side of the motor that plugs into the end of the K&N Filter and the little box on the passenger side is some sort of factory catch can but many say it's on the wrong side of the engine and not very effective if at all.

You want to connect a real catch can between the intake and the PCV.

Damnit I thought that long ass line was carrying fumes back into the intake.

So I would, in essence, be using the same connection points that the catch can would normally be using? What is that metal bypass thingie that is installed with the ProCharger kit?

I believe you are referring to the 1 way check valve that prevents boost from entering your crankcase.
