I tried to do a log last night, but with our temps still near 90 my DR heat up quickly and cant get a WOT more than second or two without having to back off. I started at 26Cold, but the time i got to the street to test it i was 28/29 psi. I put it at 26 thinking with cooler weather i will drop to 24ish cold. Might be another month before i see the cooler weather that will drop them. Guess for now i will drop them myself.
Were you trying from a dig or a roll? I can't go from a dig on the street. I have to roll into WOT from 4th-gear at about 2000-RPMs. If I try the same in 3rd, at the same RPMs, 9-times-out-of-10, the MTs just start spinning and I start to go all over the place and sometimes get some TMA. Maybe try from a higher gear, if possible. It's not safer, but unless you go to a track, you might not have much choice.

From a roll, probably 40mph range..

If weather holds tomorrow I will try my adjusted tune...I lowered the KR closer to stock and richned the MAF.

I would try 555r2's...imo they are better for rolls then the MT's on the street. At the track MT's dominate but the street tears them up and they loose a lot of traction when the tread starts to ball up on them.

I am using the Nittos...I will drop them to 25 tomorrow and see how it does.

There is really nothing complicated about it, you have a gauge in your car set it to lambda and tell us what is says at WOT.

I explained in the other thread all O2 sensors are really Lambda sensors, narrow or wide band.

The gauge converts it to an AFR based on the type of fuel entered.

Default for gauges on our US market are based on Gasoline but you can go in to the gauge and tell it what fuel you are burning.

But it's far to confusing which is what you've been battling for weeks now.

Higgs simplified it perfectly, % enrichment!

18% is Ideal for DI engines for Best Power/ piston/valve/exhaust component protection.

100-18=82 Get it?

People aske me all the time, how can you make 725 RWHP on 93 octane on a stock LT1 and have it Live?

One of clues are here.

Thanks for the input King’. I’m going to try those next. They have gotten tore-up pretty bad. The sway is the worst…

So much for my test today..my new aem sensor appears to crapped out only showing 2.0 Lambda with an occasional flicker of a regular reading. My Aeroforce wideband is having trouble as well. I was trying someone else's channel and chart list and when I tried to restore my previous one it doesn't like it. Of course no info on setting up Aeroforce wb in Lambda.

I found the tuning school offset spreadsheet for afr but nothing for Lambda. Aeroforce uses 0volts for 10afr and 5volts for 20afr. Anyone know how to convert it for the transform function in HPT?

Glad i bought a spare sensor a couple weeks ago...i changed out the AEM sensor and it now works again. I went out and tried another hit, but with the evening temps still over 80 i had to back out cause of wheel spin. For the short ride i did see encouragement. At e31 and after i richened it and reduced the KR sensors closer to stock my Inj pw was 5.7-5.9 at .85-.87 Lambda. I really need a clean pass to for a true evaluation. I am happy with those numbers. Fuel pressure held around 80psi low side and 3300+ on the high side. As far as i am concerned thus far, e30 is doable.

So you're saying you make 725 wheel on pump gas and a tune and no other mods?! Must be something of a world record!

I think he's saying it's a stock LT1 shortblock. The general consensus is once you get above 600-650 WHP you should change out the stock LT1 pistons & rods since they're a weak link. Ted is proving what many of us have seen firsthand: a good tune and solid fueling is the key to making your Gen V DI engine live.

Ted is simply saying that by targeting 18% rich(.82 lambda) @ WOT it allows him to push a stock long block LT1 much further then most say they will safely go. Is this stuff really that hard to figure out? Lol

I missed the "stock long block" part. It doesn't really read that way.

This is JSH we’re talking about here. Lately he’s huffing down some really good paint fumes, or that weed in Colorado has got some other good shit in it..
