I think it's personal preference on the appearance issue with a sunroof. I for one, prefer the smooth roof you get with a sunroof over the "pagoda" style roof on non-sunroof cars. Since the roof that goes with a sunroof optioned vehicle does not divot down in the center toward the passenger ceiling, there may actually be more headroom on the sunroof car. I would like to get actual measurements to compare. I am not so fond of the outside slider. I considered another ZL1 convertible but I could not do without the eLSD after driving the one in my C7 Z06. The ZL1 Convertible could not be equipped with the eLSD because of convertible chassis braces required in the area of the differential. The sunroof is my compromise for a convertible. Either way you choose, enjoy driving the new 2017 ZL1. It is a genuine beast.

I was also going to ask how much headroom the sunroof takes up. Sounds like I have to test sit an SS with one. I'm assuming they would sit the same as a ZL1?? I'm 6'3" but I have a 35" inseam so I might fit. I do plan on tracking it, I'll have to make sure I try one with my helmet on..
