Are you the Mr. Otis that I was reading about in my SCCA magazine this morning? They mentioned someone might take nationals in a 2016 camaro.

Lefty MacLeod gave me a heads up on the situation. We are friends and announce together all the time (I am Chief of Announcers for Nationals, Lefty is one of three captains that help me out). |

SCCA put up a poll of who everyone thinks will win in the Street classes here: http://www.scca.com/articles/2001888...treet-category Incase you want to vote for Ryan or anyone else you know that is competing next weekend.

BTW agree classing looks likely to shake out the way you think it will. |

Nice, running my first one tm. That's a big course. I ran my SC G8GT a few years ago and it was pretty good. I think my Camaro will outrun my times by at least a couple seconds. Great runs.

If classing ends up the way I anticipate, then I have a hard choice. I'd lean towards a V6 1LE or regular SS. The V6 1LE is essentially an SS (wheels, suspenaion) minus ~200lbs and minus a the HP/tq. cheaper sticker cost and maybe an easier transition for me personally. Positive of the SS is that they are on lots, including one that is 95% of the exact car I want sitting on a lot I drive past everyday. Could literally drive straight from Nats to the dealership and come with an SS. Guess I should take the parts off the FiST first though! |
