That's good to know, had no idea. I've tried these after I ordered and when my car hit 3800 because I knew bunch of C7 guys did the same thing.

I did it on my C7 too and it worked great. I showed up at the dealer right behind the car hauler. I was doing a curtesy delivery so the car was ready to pick up in 30 minutes.

I'd be fine if I opened the app one morning and saw it there. The ETA on the invoice was 12/2 and that's starting to look like its not going to happen.

It's possible that it is inside of that facility getting the defects ironed out as well

Actually...I am an investigator! I was a local deputy sheriff for 28 years, then retired to be an investigator for another agency.

Wouldn't it be amazing if we could stream the back up camera view with the OnStar app? Remember that we might be scaring some poor lot worker to death when your car suddenly starts (if you do that...) with the app.

I just got my Onstar account started and it says my car is at Plymouth and Deering st in Michigan. Is that just a holding lot? Google maps doesn't really show much. Its just been sitting I guess for who knows how long...

The Onstar map says it's right outside of the Livonia GM engine plant. Which is also parallel to some RR tracks. I had no trouble activating Onstar. I had my dealership get an account number set up and then I downloaded the onstar app. It required me to set up an account online so I did that with my account number. I didn't have to purchase anything to see where my car was and it activated immediately. Maybe it was simple bc my car is sitting out in the open. If others have problems I'm thinking it's bc their cars are inside a building

Someone started my car and i can see it again. It has not moved from the same spot outside plant.

I finally got the PIN and logged in, cannot locate the vehicle, probably have to wait until tomorrow.

Yes this is the long part i was telling you about, the website says 24-48 hrs but mine worked in about 16 hrs and trust me i was checking alot for it to work.
