Dave, in your opinion what do you think the ZL1'S "AVERAGE" pass will be with a mediocre driver?

I totally agree on your analysis of the cat. I agree on the Z too, but find it interesting on your et suffering when you get a good 60. I've gotten some pretty decent ets for what I consider terrible 60s, but so far, my fastest passes have always been when I can hook and get a good 1.7 60. Quote:
That's been my average lately at London. I need to get back out west to BG where my last several passes of the summer were 11.1s.

Like the other Dave suggested, it will boil down to conditions, location, and driver experience. I think on average 11.2 - 11.4 is repeatedly achievable on a well prepped track with a competent driver. It takes a little practice but I think anyone can do it. My very first pass was an 11.4 with every nannie turned on. I think I may only have made 2 passes slower than that. I think the majority of my passes have been in the 11.2 range now, with a few more in the 11.1 zone with the good weather.

Well, Beech Bend cancelled their TNT again this weekend, the last of the season, but when you gotta know you gotta know, so my buddy and I headed to Alabama International Raceway on Sunday and had a blast. 3 hour drive, but that's racing.
This is my 2016 Hellcat Raceweight about 4400# Race tire/wheel setup Aluminum DSS Drive Shaft Rear Differential Brace (strength) WOW - one pass looked like it coulda been a 10.4x....gonna review data logs to see why not based on the 60' compared to the 10.51. Very impressed with this car. These were shake down, once I get to know it a bit better I'm confident I can launch it even harder. I've got some video and what not I'll post up later, but for now here are the slips. The last one was a hot lap ![]()

I'd love to run a fast Hellcat but none have shown up at our track in St Louis when I'm there. I'll be close the the Demon next spring so maybe one of those will be at the track. My 10.30's would be pretty competitive for most I'd say, but 9's next year should be a Demonizer. Nice runs Speedy

Most of the weight was in the stock tire/wheels. Race setup is what you guys call drag pack I think and is a Hoosier slick on a Weld forged aluminum wheel out back and a Racestar and M&H front runner up front. Beyond that just simple stuff that's quick to remove like the two 10" Harmon Kardon subs from the trunk, and typical crap. Nothing crazy at all, still had full washer bottle, etc. I think I spent 15 minutes on it honestly. Same setup I ran on Orange Krush so I could have a good comparo. Orange Krush was a M6 and I could run 10.80s in it, so my goal was to just beat that to know the upgrade was worth it haha, running 10.50s was kind of a surprise to be honest. At full weight with a DR this would likely convert to a 10.71 at 129ish. Quote:
