Back in the early 2000s, it actually was, but the exhaust system business was sold to Faurecia, which is a French company, around 2006, I believe.

That said, my uncle worked there for like 25 years, and he lives in Indiana. I didn't ask him about the Camaro exhaust, but he told me he worked on the S550 Mustang's exhaust systems as well, and they're made in a building next door to one his office was in.

Can't get black tips on NPP. The Borla Atak axle back on mine is super loud for the first 45 seconds or so after a cold start, then quiets down to "normal" just as Officer Friendly pulls up.

Plastidip or paint costs about $5. It's all preference, I like being able to do mild to wild witht he Corsa NPP. Gave me the exact sound I was hoping for, wildly loud in sport+ pretty quiet in touring/stealth. Has a nice throaty growl.

ATAK sounded good too, but I snagged a better deal on the Corsa at the time.

You can't/shouldn't paint anything high temperature with plastidip.

I was under the impression they made a high-temp variety, but it occurs to me it is still plastic (presumably from the plasti part).

I'm not a barber so i'll refrain from recommending a specific product and leave it at its cheap to change the color should you wish.
