Yeah my bad I'm not sure where I got main from. But alas, GM has done a lot of testing and a couple of rod bearings shouldn't just spin for no reason. There had to have been an issue with something to cause the contact and resulting damage. At the very least they will need to resize the big ends and replace the crankshaft.

OH no, you don't. Believe what you'd like, but if you believe you are owed anything out of anyone then you're headed for disappointment.

He didn't have to post the thread, update it, tell us anything, or fill us in any more. Welcome to reality, where you are owed nothing.

Yes we do have to go columbo. Sorry your reading skills are lacking. I know the OP is not telling all the truth, we still are going to discuss possible ways the engine could fail no matter what your opinion is on the matter. So move along.

If you'd choose to use proper communication skills, there really is no need to be so rude.

I mean you were left a pretty huge clue as to what you can expect by the OP:

Maybe you should just stay off my threads.
Assuming you must have missed that, but, take the hint already. It's because of people like you that he isn't responding, all I'm asking is for you to treat him with some respect. That's how we *all* get our answers.

I feel badly for you, but I've done what I can. Good luck!

The OP started it with this gem when he got the results from the dealer.....

Of course per forum rules people should not respond by going to their level, but OP should not have responded in such a manner to all plausible causes for the engine to lock up when he asked what could have gone wrong.
