I sure would have preferred to keep the headers and included the aftermarket mid pipe...just didn’t know that was an option.

I do have the high flow cats too. They are sitting in my trunk. I believe they are the same size as the race pipes so it’s an easy switch.

PS. Just order the Kooks midpipe and go straight into the NPP, you won’t regret it.

Order TSP Headers, Off-Road Cats And Corsa And you won’t be disappointed. You’ll also be able to tune the car and gain power.

Not sure that tuning and gaining power is a differentiator.

I went with the Kooks 1 7/8in headers, off-road pipes and a bunch of other stuff. Kooks headers are a great fit. I need to get pictures and post.

I am hoping to get the car on the lift next week to see if there are some better options for connecting the LT's to the rest of the system.

so, this xpipe would connect to the race pipes and then back to the axle back exhaust? Will it work with the convertible?

No, based on that picture it connects to factory headers.

Seriously bud, you need the kooks mid pipe. It’s badass and fit my vert perfect.

I’ve already confirmed with Corsa it connects to cats or off-road cats, not directly to factory manifolds.

I mean, only because I’m a Dealer for Corsa 🤷🏾*♂️ And Bc I’m texting the R&D team lead as we speak. My x-Pipe is coming in a few weeks and I’ll take photos for ya, with my TSP headers, off-road cats and Corsa Axle Back.

I used American Racing Headers and their system on my SS Convertible, but for the muffler and the pipes leading up to the NPP exhaust/muffler as it interfered with the convertible braces. I believe they call it the 3/4 system.

Ok. So, I could connect this to Kooks off-road pipes then it will go back to the Stainlessworks axleback?

I think the problem is figuring out exactly what size the off-road pipes are. . .are they 3inch or 2.75in?

I am also interested in testing my exhaust with the highflow cats vs the race pipes to see the different sound.

They should all be 3” but even 2.75 wouldn’t be a big difference once you clamp it on. Different Cats will not make a sound difference, or enough to tell a difference.

3" offroad pipes are for connecting to an aftermarket 3" midpipe. The factory midpipe is 2.75", so guess what the others are for

Again, looking at that pic of the Corsa, it's for factory headers. Since you are running Kooks headers, its a no-brainer to run their midpipe.

These cars don’t come with factory headers, they come with manifolds. You can’t tell from a picture what size the pipe is. I’ve already spoken to Corsa and they work with headers and their axle back system. The only thing that he said was “In the A8, it deletes the afm valves on the axle pipes from factory. So if you have afm, you would need a tune deleting it or You’ll have CEL”
