Nope I just confirmed straight out of the manual. It's the ONLY reference to NGK in the whole PDF:
69. (Complete kits) Remove the stock spark plugs & replace with the NGK LZTR7AIX-13. Apply a small amount of anti-seize on the threads and gap the spark plug to .032”. Make sure to not damage the electrode during gapping. Torque the spark plug to 11 ft-lbs. |

so u know I'm not crazy...
The O N L Y... confusion may be the (Complete Kits) thing.... I inquired about that and the response was confusing.... Bottom line is these plugs will work. Did send Whipple a poke just because apparently people are getting differing pieces of information. Maybe my manual is a diff revision who knows! So Friday we start this build. I got one more part ordered (hoping it comes on time) since I'll have the front fascia off the car during the process...

I got this grill too. Hopefully the Mosaic Black looks good with the standard black lower grill. I don't think the difference will be too drastic as the upper grill is so small.

Remove the stock spark plugs & replace with the NGK LZTR7AIX-13 The bottom line is that these are cooler plugs than stock. I would use what is referenced in the install guide. $55 on Amazon roughly. Here is from my tech contact I have been working with. Basically stating use the plugs referenced in the manual: |
