Good thinking in my opinion.

On this site I've seen several people break things already:
A8+dr+lot of nitrous-broken axle
M6+slick on stock motor-broken axle
M6+good street tire on stock motor-broken axle
M6+supercharger-broken axle (this thread)
A8+dr+nitrous-bent driveshaft
A8+dr+supercharger-broken aftermarket driveshaft

You must also consider experience and technique. I have been racing 600 + hp cars for a long time and never broke...knock wood.

Thanks for answering my question everyone. So far the cost of my Michelin's has helped keep my launches pretty tame so I think I'll be ok for a while.

IMO, the Gforce axles are better. As far as the diff? I dont plan on changing my gear ratio. 3.73 is enough for me.
