I did manuals when I was in my teens... does it make it more "fun"... ehh, sure. Do I miss stop and go traffic for an hour each way in a manual... NOPE! I'll take my A10 over the M6 any day of the week.

I've always just been attracted to American cars. 30s-late 70s. Then picked up again late 90s when performance cars began to creep back in. Current American muscle is no joke and still the bests dollar for dollar performance in the world.

Gas prices are very much tied to demand. So the more people that switch to cute little EVs, the less demand there is for gas. I hope they sell a ton of electric cars. I love EVs. Every one contributes to making it a little cheaper to fill my tank! Makes my fun car even less expensive to drive!

So you know China/the Enemy controls the EV Battery manufacturing...right? They have the most access to the minerals and resources needed to manufacture batteries of a mass scale. Thus China will be controlling our transportation here in the US and around the world if in fact the US is that Stupid to go all Electric.

You have always been a stand up forum member. Good luck with your new ventures. I car pool with Tesla owner and ride his to work once a week. Pretty cool car. Electric is the future just not for all of us. I guess I can understand one for a commuter.
