Yes, it does.

sorry, I couldn't resist a wry smile. Yes, you always replace bulbs in pairs, LED or not, because if one goes out, chances are the other will not be far behind.

In this case, fixing half the problem isn't enough, you need to replace both. You wouldn't want two different bulbs on each side anyway, right? They most likely won't have the same hue and ligh intensity unless they are identical units.

Note also that this diagnosis, like everything you read here, is just a somewhat educated guess on my part, not the result of a proper physical examination of the car.

Welcome to the real world, Neo Nothing you see on youtube is exactly that simple in the real world, people tend to cut out or shorten the hard parts and failed attempts from their videos, and watching someone pull parts doesn't tell you how difficult it may be in reality, or what kind of tricky hand movements may be necessary, especially if you're dealing with a rusty metal or stuck plastic part. Keep trying and you'll get a feel for it

This is the orange bulb that doesn't come out. Is this normal?
I've tried with all my strength pulling it out, I cannot, lol.

Could it be that I have to replace the whole part?

It should come out simply by pulling it away, the bulb itself looks like the picture below. Old bulbs can get stuck pretty bad in there, unfortunately.

Try not to exert too much strength and break it, because then it may be even more difficult to get all the pieces out completely. I'd try to loosen it by dripping isopropyl alcohol into the socket, you probably have that at home.

Both me and the mechanic have tried pulling it and unfortunately nothing is coming out. Apart from the alcohol (is it safe to use in the electrical contacts of the bulb?) what can I do if it doesn’t come out? I feel that if I pull it harder it will break it.

You can use WD-40, and maybe it's also time to add a new tool to your arsenal: https://youtu.be/vVvfxRvKDfg?si=Uc1jhdcA5J3Kxo7v

Thanks, I will order it!

Do I really need to detach the battery before using the WD-40? I've read it's not really safe to use it with the battery plugged in.

The only time I disconnect the battery is when I work near airbags and their connectors (say, the steering wheel or seats). If the car is off, shorting the turn signal bulb doesn't matter, and even in the worst case you'll burn a single fuse.

However, if you want to be 101% safe, the official advice is yes, every time you service any electrical or electronic component, you should disconnect the battery first (in the trunk), then wait at least 15 minutes before continuing.

DON'T CLOSE THE TRUNK (and all doors) after you disconnected the battery, or you'll have a nasty time reconnecting the battery (or even getting back into the car)---you'll need to pop the keyhole cover on the driver door handle, use the physical key and climb through the trunk via a hole behind the folded down rear seat I usually put a microfiber towel on the trunk latch to make sure I don't lock myself out of it.

The WD-40 is magic, it worked!
Now I got another problem, first of all one LED light got stuck inside the housing and there is no way I was able to pull it out (biadhesive, etc).

Is there an easy way to detach the housing of the light or do I need to unmount the bumper? I've never done that and if you guys would be so kind to show a step by step video, I'd be very grateful.

For reference, the hyper blinking is still there and I opened a new thread so everything can be followed more easily: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showt...5#post11375915

Thanks so much guys. You are amazing.
