Also, I'm running 2.3/1.5 and need more camber for even wear both front and rear, even with a lot of road driving... but a lot of that driving is on curvy mt roads.

yea i just added the spl toe rods last weekend before the track day but left the rear at -1.5 for now

only issue is i dont have stock struts so not sure if the camber plates will work without mods to them

Aragorn, for your driving scenarios, I don't think the stock GY SC3 has any advantages for you. They certainly are fast on track and almost as fast as the best 200tw tires for autocross, but they pose real compromises for street driving, as others have outlined. I would not go with an all-season for your uses. I agree with those who think you'd be better off with the "max performance summer" category of tires. Without question, the two best in that category are the Michelin PS 4S (which, to clarify, is not an all-season tire at all) and the Continental ExtremeContact Sport. They are both great for dry grip and wet grip, work well in any temps above freezing, and will be quieter and last longer than the GY SC3. In terms of outright performance, the Michelin has a teeny (and I mean really teeny) advantage over the Conti, but the Conti is about $250 cheaper for a set of four and is so close in both wet and dry performance as to be indistinguishable without a controlled test (and maybe even then, also). If you work out a deal with the forum member for his set of Michelins, that's great. If not, I'd say get the Contis and don't look back.

They are pretty damn good tires. I don't know that there is a tire that is as fast on the track or autocross that also holds up for daily driving 365 days a year.

Got some some making to do.
Thanks everyone.
I put a set of those on back in April/May. You probably already know you'll have to go with 295s up front, which are working fine for me. I noticed they're quieter, and definitely better in the wet. I haven't driven them in the cold yet, but anticipate they'll do fine then too.

I do notice a bit more 'wiggle' in the rear when making aggressive lane changes.

The biggest problem I've had happened a couple of weeks ago. I made a quick left hand turn on slightly uneven pavement and within a few minutes got a low pressure warning on the driver side rear. It went flat pretty quickly. The repair kit was unable to re-inflate the tire, so I had to have it put on a flat bed and taken to the local Chevy dealership. They were unable to find anything wrong with the tire and speculated that the bead wasn't correctly set when the tires were put on and it popped off the rim when I made that corner. I had it installed at my local dealership and I do remember the tech mentioning he had a hard time getting the tires on the rims.

The same tire is still on and no problems since then.

Still, we can have a pretty heavy rainy season, and temps in the 30's, and the tires are just fine. If you live in an area that gets colder you would want some all-seasons.
I commute about 60 miles a day on them, do track days, autocross a lot, and they hold up.

Although technically it's not classified as an all-season tire, my experience with the 4S since it hit the market has been that (and I don't commute to work) it can be driven hard in dry and wet conditions but ice should be avoided.

I've drivin it many times in 20-30F temps on sunny days in Denver and other than being more slippery than normal, I've encountered no issues.

So, I do see it as an all-season tire but with caveats.

Dry and wet are both great. The problem is that in temps below freezing you risk cracking the tread compound as it gets brittle. At that point, you're going to need a new tire. I do agree that if you drive them in the cold you won't automatically slide off a cliffside road and have your car explode in an accident that would make CHiPs proud (because a lot of people think that's the case...really). It's just that you risk damage not covered by the warranty. You may get away with it, and sun would certainly help because it will raise the road surface temps quite a bit. Everybody can make their own call on this.

Recaros are very sweet: pay for shipping, or just trade her for an SS 1LE
