But let's be fair, the NPP sounds good, and frankly ALL the aftermarket systems sound good!
I want louder than stock but not by some ridiculous decibel, stock NPP sounds great don't get me wrong. I am just after a little more bite, Maybe the Atak is what I'm looking for. Videos never do it for me so I'll have to go to a cars and coffee meet and see what other people are running to get a better idea.

NPP is as quiet as it gets, so anything aftermarket will be louder.

Borla S and ATAK have different tones, I think the S is deeper and more so sounds like an old muscle car, the ATAK is louder and slightly more raspy.

Both wonderful, just slightly different and as you said there is no substitute for hearing them in person. Borla does some very high quality videos, but still not the same.

If I had a 6th Gen, I think I would start by deleting my secondary cats, but that is more intrusive than just an axleback so it isnt for everyone.

Some other brands that a kind fella noted in one of the comments, yes.. but i did research and drone was a concern on some of the other ones that have NPP, not sure which ones exactly off the top but yea.. which is why I went with Borla.

Per my research, Magnaflow (which I didn't mention) and Flowmaster may have some drone. -and while the flowmaster sounds good, quality is a known issue. Price reflects that though, so it may be fine depending on your goals. I'd probably go Borla too, although with the Corsa coming out, it may be hard to beat. May be hard to afford too!!!!! lol

with these Corsa options I am going to wait out the 6 month with the stock system and maybe send them a message. If corsa comes out with NPP functionality.. it's a done deal regardless of price

How long have you had it on? Because it gets louder overtime, before it starts to level out.

My ATAK system seems to have mellowed out in the past 7 months.

Depending on the miles, you might be there already. I swapped out of some exhausts that were too loud to the S-Type, and then I thought it was too quiet. And it started getting louder LOL, and I was wondering if it was going to get too loud. But it hasn't. But this is my daily driver, not a weekend racer. So I'm not looking for Mad volume. Kind of funny really what one person thinks is loud another thinks is quiet. :-)
