Now it makes a sort of loud humm like a lower note on a harmonica when I am coming to a stop and am applying just the right amount of brake pressure. It's annoying but I've learned to just stop a tiny bit harder or softer (almost not-noticeable) the moment I feel it coming.

I came here this morning looking for exactly this thread.
My car has been flawless through 10 months of daily driving, and the ONLY criticism I have had has been brake noise. Thanks for the good suggestions here. I will hit the wheels and brakes with Sonax and the pressure washer after work tonight, and see if it helps. |

I had a 2017 A10 that I traded in for a ZL1 1LE & my boss smashed in it when the mileage was 800. That brake squeak never went away. I babied the new 18 ZL for a few thousand miles & no brake squeaks.

A lot of high performance brakes squeak. Especially common with many of my Brembo setups, even with proper bedding. Some of my nicest vehicles squeaked the most. And I'm referring to OEM pads & rotors. I don't do much aftermarket unless I have a very good reason.
