Here is a video of one of the last passes I made on the old motor at 2018 Camaro Fest. Started pushing oil out the rear main seal shortly after that. That's why I build a new motor, 2 broken ring lands was the main issue.

If I remember correctly 640-640 lift 228-240 duration 116 LSA. Not real big but should make great power, just a little smaller then Magnuson's white Camaro. It still has stock NPP Muffler with BBK long tubes and single high flow cat. Its much louder then stock. If you watched the video from the fest, it was very mellow, not now.

love the sound my cam spec is similar (zero overlap at .050 lift) on 116 lsa, I have the single tip exhaust, and my car sounds like stock or nearly so (long tube with cats). stock cat back. It is hard to tell the car has a cam at all. One day (since I'm not in this for power). I was thinking I need the poser cam on my setup, just to get some parking lot respect. LOL Call it the poser big dog cam good for all poser applications from stock to blower...

I was so used to low level stock sound with stock cam when I first fired it up I was thinking this thing is really nasty sounding. When I'm driving and at a stop sign next to someone its pretty obvious they know its not stock. I'll do another video at the track next year and compare the sound level, probably a few decibel difference I'd say.

the cats really quieted the headers down. The single tips is very quiet too, no not as quiet as my Challenger. The video is with the muffler valves open? Sounds great.

Valves are open all the time. Fuse is removed. I had to put my back seat in as I had taken it out when I put the roll bar in, it was way to loud. I'll just have to suck it up adding that 28 lbs back in. I took off some weight on the front when I removed the original dual cats on each side and I lost 9 lbs up front on the BMR motor mounts compared to the stock mounts. Those stock cats are pretty dam heavy, high flow cats are pretty dam light. So probably offset putting the back seats in and I'd rather have weight in the rear then the front.

Thx man, it should have been this season but had an engine problem and just didn't get there. This new motor is lower compression and should be pretty stout. Its cold and snowy in Missouri so I have plenty of time to get ready for March when most of our tracks open. Those Hoosiers really hook don't they, love mine.

Curious why you're sticking with running cats. I thought most people at your power level seem to go without them.
