I needed no special tools, you do need small hands to get to two of the front facia bolts, or get the sons out their to do it for you.... It is really an easy job. The instructions are good but NOT as good as the magnuson which I use for most of the OEM parts removing and putting back on. Also the whole move around the driver's side radiator sucks and thy need like 5 more pictures IMO... I'm not running the driver's side radiator, I'm going to be building a duct to bring fresh air into the filter and over the header (steel plate separating header from filter.
