Thanks for asking.

Stage 2 requires LT-4 fuel system upgrades up to 750 RWHP

Note, all packages say up to.

Essentially Fuel system upgrade, LT-4 Low side, high side pumps, and injectors.

Race gas would be required to support this much power, or Meth injection for octane.

Again all without changing any of the Turbo system parts.

Ted.

What would a reasonable HP ceiling be for a 1LE? We have the LT4 in-tank pump, but not the injectors, right?

600 RWHP

You will need to add the LT-4 High pressure pump and injectors to exceed this RWHP number.

My experience with small twins.. I had a buddy with a 06 GTO that rocked twin 56mm turbos. LS2 M6 with the factory 3.42 gear. Car made mid 500's on 7psi. Honestly it was insta-spool... almost as quick as my 03 cobra roots blower. It was fun if you wanted to have a short gear pull here or there but normal driving actually sucked. You had to stay very light on the pedal and keep the rpms very low not to jump into boost under normal driving. I know sounds like fun until you realize your mpg is god awful because its just dumping gas all the time. There was no real in between.

With that being said the sizing of the turbos to the cubes play a huge roll. Larger displacement motors will eat up turbos in regard to upper rpms. You can change exhaust AR's to help that out but will generally swap low end for some lag and top end.

His car would be whizzing around 6k.

With the M6 in the 6th gen rocking 3.73's I don't think you will have any issue with them lighting off.. and if they do on say a highway pull then BRAKE BOOST!!!

At the same time I had another buddy would owned a STS 6.0 GTO M6. I had heard a lot of bad things about rear mounted turbos. When I drove his car I was oddly surprised... It was like I could drive spiritedly on the 400hp 6.0 motor from light to light not getting into boost. If I stuck the pedal it was lazy but when it came on it had no issue pulling even up in the upper rpms. But on a highway pull... BRAKE BOOSTED!! INSTA-BOOST!!

Anyway I hope that did bore you!! Personally I would say the 62's would be the perfect choose unless you plan to make 1000-1200WHP with 427 cubes. Then I would go to 67's.. The 62's seem to sign off early at that point rpm wise.

Yes, thanks for the info!

Man, the more I research and talk to others about build options, the less sure I become about the direction I want to take! Is there such a thing as too many options? (sarcasm)

Is the Hellion Twin Turbo kit available with everything except the Precision turbos?
If so, that is the cost?

I've a long history with Precision, including constant rebuilds, rust issues on oil fed turbos and poor customer service.

With the electronic boost controller option, can the tune handle real-time adjustments to max boost? Or do you need a separate tune for each setting you want to use?

Typically if you want peak performance at each boost level you will need a tune for each boost level.

If we tune it for high boost you can turn down the boost and run on the same tune.
