I have tried a number of highend catch cans on many projects. I own a 2010 Twin Turbo Camaro and the best catch can I have found is the Elite E2X ultra. I check the valves at regular intervals and virtually, no appreciable valve build up. The only way you can determine if any catch can is working properly is to visually look at the valves. I am anal about this subject and how it relates to engine performance and I stand by the Elite catch can. Everyone has an opinion but the proof of the pudding is a visual inspection of the valves. That is the ONLY way you can prove one catch can performance over another. For me and my customers, it's Elite.

Like that wasn't an imported testimonial. Not sure why EE is going nuts now trying to defend it's product it's not your credibility just your LTG application that we have an issue with. Where Mishimoto fails you succeeded and where you failed and called it a day they succeeded by actually pulling things apart. Difference in the end products are obvious stated by Jason@JacFab. It is clear you did not have a 2.0T Camaro for testing and just went with the old turbo tried and true method except these new engines have more to them then the 2010 to 2015 builds.

Now only if you guys did a collaboration product that'd be something fun to see.

I will be pulling apart my intake, lines, etc this spring to do a direct comparison for the stock 'build up' after 7000km and what the internals look like after 7000km with Mishi's setup...we shall see ...for anyone curious I documented what I found in the OEM system in the Mishi catch can install thread and my build thread.

All Elite E2 and E2-X series Catch Cans come standard with true -6 or -8 AN fittings.

The main separation unit also does not restrict flow at the industry CFM flow rate while stopping 95% plus of the oil and other compounds you don;t want to reach the combustion chamber. You only want air/fuel in the combustion chamber period. Will be nice to see Jason conduct the test and post the results here.

Yes, the new LT V8 based engines in the Camaro are GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection) and do come with a very effective cleanside separation system, but nothing for the foul/dirty side where most ingestion enters from.

As the older LS engines could tolerate some ingestion, the 11.5:1 CR LT engines cannot, so that is where you need to add a Catch Can system.

Our E2-X dual valve system can be viewed in the thread on installation Cunningham has made here to understand it. And, there is not a more effective separation system than this design on the market.

Installation is pretty straight forward and as it adds full time evacuation it will constantly pull the damaging compounds from the crankcase keeping engine oil clean longer as well as prevent up to 85% of intake valve coking and greatly reduce detonation caused KR.
