For instance only use premium fuel for small engines , I.e. Snow blowers, lawn equipment, golf carts ect, I recommend premium with no ethonal , as it is bad for small engines and never leave that fuel stored in the tank over the winter or summer, best to drain it rather then using fuel stableizer. Also they boost octane with ethonal , it is safe to use as long as it's total octane meets or exceeds the requirements of your vehicle. However I am giving you my personal opinion on what works best in my vehicle or engines from my own experience. Think of this as well, using fuel with no ethonal will give you better fuel economy as well as better performance. You can google and read lots about the differences.
Here is a link I just pulled up https://www.bellperformance.com/blog...l-and-gasoline

The only thing I'm worried about is that in the book/ manual it says not to use any fuel containing more than 15% ethanol or it can cause premature wear and damage the internal engine components ..... and well the 94 gas at petro has up to 10%..... which is close to the 15%.....

I hope the 94 octane hasn't done anything ..... I had been using it since day 1 when I got it a month ago... :'(
That is 10% vs 15% by volume, so unless you have an extra tank of pure ethanol attached separately or found an e85 station to buy from or tanked up at a station with such low sales and poor storage that water has bound with the gas then it is not close, its only 2/3s of the way and there are worse things to worry about... Ethanol hysteria is not something that I really want to get pulled into but if you feel better use Shell 91 and be happy / save a few cents per litre...
