most people want a nice dd car...and s550 is not a nice dd car..buy a hyundai for that it will miles better
If people just want a nice DD with a V8 then I doubt they will get a PP or a 1LE. Performance on these packages I think does matter. If comfort and straight line was all that mattered to me I would just drive a Challenger.

I like Mustangs. I owned one of each of the last two generations. But performance DOES matter to ME. And that is why I have the Camaro

ofc..but what point is having a powerful car if you cant enjoy it..the s550 is not an enjoyable car to drive..in fact it's terrible. worthless to own in fact..
i love american muscle..my 2013 camaro 2ss was a pure joy to own and drive..
i will be buying another camaro..
my s550 was my last ever mustang.own

i cannot drive a car that has a floaty rear end and driveline vibrations..u can keep it ..

even if the new s550 had 2000 bhp..if it drives like the model i owned i DO NOT WANT IT..if ford cant buiild a mustang that can drive half as good as a cheap hyundai then wtf are they doing building cars,

i did a 400 mile round trip today in my hyundai..lot of it about 100mph..effortless at 100..one finger..no tramlining. no hood flutter..100mph in the s550 is horrendous..

Ouch! That's lightly used ZL1, Hellcat, or Shelby money. Apparently not vey many cars outhandle the 1LE under 100k.

Exactly! If a loaded PP1 is 52 and change then I would rather have a used Hellcat, ZL1, or a Corvette GS.

Stop with the Hyundai BS. I owned a 2012 Sonata 2.0t for 5 yrs and that car had plenty of its own issues. Talk about poor driving dynamics... you had to constantly fight the steering on the highway...it would drift all over the road and you could not relax while driving it, constantly needed steering input. Well documented issue that Hyundai denied being a problem,

HPFP died at 60k miles. Brake pedal switch was made poorly and wear out every 50k miles. Turbo electric waste gate controller has issues from the heat and requires replacement often. cheap rubber on the instrument knobs and steering wheel peeled off. the paint would get scratched by everything that touched it.

you hate Fords we get it, But ive driven my share of Mustangs old and new and never saw the issues you claim so the problem was most likely specific to your vehicle rather than the model.

"hats off to ford..such an amazing car they have built here..my friend came with me and hates mustangs..he drove half the way and said it's a damn fine car...
even at 120mph it's tight on the road...no high speed wandering at all..solid as a rock.
300 miles in a 2013 camaro then 300 miles in an s550..so we got a pretty good idea how good they both are..the camaro has a much more low end grunt motor..but once u wind up that v-tech s550 coyote motor boy does it go fast.."

Here's a post of yours from the Mustang forums. You are a ****ing terrible troll. Holy shit you have problems. LOL v-tech motor?

Lol.... owned

Although he did say the Camaro was better in most ways

Maybe he started having issues with more miles?

They all can have problems but the vast majority of cam chal and stang are all pretty good cars.

My car has exceeded my expectations on every level so far. I will test drive a new 18 stang for the heck of it but there's no way I'd ever switch to one. I'm slightly biased and I've got money in my car. I did steal it for 30k at the end of last year as well. Even the price has impressed me lol

the novelty wore off real quic dude..honemoon period lasted about 3 days..takes a while for alll the problems to realise..plus i just parted with 40k..ofc i was gonna say good things.
the s550 is worse than a hyundaii to drive..says it all

why cant u drive an s550 above 100 mph safely yet my hyundai i30 is effortless?
i need to know why ford cant build a car that can do this..
utter joke tbh..
the s550 will go down in muscle car history as a giant lemon..complete and utter turd of a car.

my hyundai has gone 40k miles and is still like new..my friends i30 went over 200k miles with not a single problem..hyundai are damn good cars..ofc not fast..but 56mpg on a run. 900 miles to one tank..awesome car for 17k.
had mine 3 years and still love to drive it..had my s550 7 months and despised it in the end..
i have never ever posted a bad thing about the gen5 camaro ss..
if all u want is a car to have good brakes i highly recomend the pp s550..coz boy are those brembos good....apart from that i wouldn't touch one with a 10 foot barge pole

I really liked my S550 GT when I first got it too. I swore I would never trade it in, I would keep it forever...but then I started to realize all the work and money and time and effort you have to put into it to make them as fast as you want and I became disappointed. Mustangs are cheap because they are built cheap and it becomes evident when you try to mod them.

and surely just the driveline problems and ac failures is enough to put anyone off ever owning one?
once i read what was going on i lost any interest in owning it..no way i want the dash being removed on a new car.
mine vibrated above 80mph a small amount..thing is this vibe gets worse as the miles roll on.
the thing about a ford is you just know something is gonna break at any time.

we all live and learn mate..we are all allowed to change our minds. if these mustang owners dont want to listen it's their loss.
brand loyalty is just crazy..
from now i will NEVER EVER EVER own another ford product..i gave up on normal fords 30 years ago because of the way they drove fell apart and rusted.
nothing changes even today.
i see 8 year old fords here totaly rotten with rust lol..junk cars

this thread surely is enough to put anyone off buying one.
that and ac failures happening all over the planet..
HUGE FAIL FOR FORD

like i said who gives a damn about zero to 60 or other silly talk...if u cant drive the thing safely then i dont want it..
trying to change lane at high speed in the mustang lol..scared the life out of me...in my hyundai u just change lane with one finger...tramling, rear end floating , bouncing suspension and twitchy steering makes driving that mustang on anything but perfect roads a joke..
go test drive a gen6 camaro lads...you will blown away how damn refined it is
