Nice! Looks great with the body color hood inserts. All I can think of though is how much cleaner this car would look in Los Angeles! My Hyper Blue stays clean for about 30 seconds before all the dust & crap in the air starts to show up. I don't regret the color choice but I do look at it sadly when she gets dirty so quickly!

But yours is beautiful. I love all our different cars!!!

Love the colored vents looks clean and sharp. Any planned additions?

Ok, I've been letting it get down to just about 1500 RPM before downshifting. So I'm in that range.

Another question I have; I've noticed that when I push in the clutch (especially when going from 1st to 2nd), I can hear a "rattle" or a "tumbling" sound coming from somewhere in the transmission. I know I am pushing in the clutch all the way, and I'm not doing so slowly or anything. Is this normal as well? Or something I should get looked at? Car has done this since I first drove it home, so I'm not sure if it's normal or not.

It's not all that loud, and not like anything is really "clanging" in there. But it is something I notice every time. Just curious if everyone else has it too (manual transmissions).

Final question; I want to do an early oil change. How many miles do you all suggest?

Gotta buy some snow tires/wheels. Next spring the runflats will go in the trash after some epic burnouts, suckers are hard as rocks.

Probably do a borla or stainless works axleback next year, Just to get a little more thump at idle. I am still figuring out if that's really needed. NPP is loud on the throttle but it kind of gets weak at idle even in track mode.

When I finally get used to the power in a year or two and decide it's slow , i'll install a procharger or a magnuson. Maybe a cam if I have the time and energy to learn about tuning this beast, work has been brutal the last year or two so it's doubtful. That's why it's got npp and mrc, to scare off the mod bug as long as possible.

Do the fuse pull on the NPP. Helps. But yeah I'm going to but replacing the exhaust system down the road as well. Headers back.

I've noticed it as well, and it's annoying. I think it's just a Chevy quirk. My 97 SS did the same thing. I took it to the dealer and they said that's, "just the way it is". I put 130k on it before selling it and never had any trouble with the transmission.

I've noticed the same noise but only intermittently and not often. I think its when I switch between modes. My salesman had a problem with rattling in his exhaust the dealer had to fix something hope it's not that. Hasn't concerned me - yet!

LOL - wow. Thank is awesome. You are going to need to come back in here and posts some pics of burnouts, borla work, and the engine mods if they ever happen. I know about the work thing... So if it does not happen, we understand.
