A GT without PP is EXTREMELY soft. It'll have more features than the 1SS, but will be missing the performance. These cars are simply packaged differently.

If you just want a cruiser and a nice interior, the GT Premium is cheaper than 2SS.. If you want nice interior/features in the Mustang AND performance, then you need to cough up 4k for GT Premium PP, which makes it 1k more expensive than the Camaro 2SS all while having less features than Camaro.
Correct GT premium 39,995 with destination so 40K.

Now I am not sure how much truth there is to this, what I read on M6G.

Supposedly the 18 GT will now have the the current PP suspension components as the standard suspension so if that is true, it wouldn't be as soft as the current S550 cars with out the PP.

I believe all trims have been stiffened. However, GT will still not be the equivalent of the 15-17 PP. Excerpt from MT article below.

"Additionally, all refreshed Mustangs get new shock absorbers, a new cross-axis joint in the rear suspension and improved stabilizer bars for better ride and handling."

I would not be interested in a base model for either car, did it once and won't again. It is worth a few extra dollars a month in payment to have a car which you enjoy driving in traffic as much as you enjoy winding it out.

The automatic GT with PP, Mag, and Exhaust which I would be interested in would be 48k, the automatic Camaro with Mag and Exhaust I would be interested in would be 47.5k. Hardly worth bickering about the price agree? The best bang for the buck would be a Scatpack 392 Charger with upgraded wheel, leather, and tech packages for 42.5k

I agree, just pointing out the inaccuracies. Although I'm sure the bickering will continue.. Still get more features from Camaro at a lower cost though.

I'm really digging the Orange Fury with PP.

Go equip a 2018 Mustang GT base to what a Camaro SS (1SS) is.

I seem to remember some Mustang peeps talking about the price of the 6G Camaro SS.

Active exhaust yes, it comes standard on the 392 cars course it's the old vacuum system like the 5th gen NPP . No MRC in FCA's parts bin yet.

Agreed. My seats in my 10 Camaro SS were much more durable and felt more comfortable than in my S550 GT. The GT seats felt like they'd be a mess after about 40,000 miles.

Damn 8 pages since my last comment. Not even gonna bother reading responses to catch up. That's what I get for working.

I'm sure it was "not stock", "mustang owners lie", "impossible", etc.

I know on my track apps I was able to do 12.6 bone stock, never ran my 15 at the strip and accuracy on any of the track apps on either car is up in the air.

You see a mustang guy and two things happen. Either you appreciate each other that you like muscle cars, or the other guy must suck cause he doesn't have what you have. Just have fun driving your car and enjoying it and don't worry about mustangs
Holy shit a sensible comment?

Dude am I on the wrong site?

You my friend, win this thread.

I'm on so many forums, I generally just like cars and most of the communities. I bullshit with everyone at cars and coffee, dragstrip, etc and have no brand loyalties.

The best community I have been a part of was the G8.

Some people take this stuff way too serious.

I never believe in blind brand loyalty. I second this. Regardless, competition is good for everyone. The consumers win. I can understand some of the animosity with others. Deep down inside nobody wants their car that they spent a considerable amount of change on to be "outdated." But, that's just the way the cookie crumbles. Always going to be something better in about two years after a new purchase. Just be happy and content and enjoy what you have. I feel as if some individuals only identity are their cars and feel that if they hate on other manufactures they'll receive a free decal to put on their car that provides 5 extra hp from GM.
