You live in a warm climate? Mine has started the heated seats every morning automatically since I bought it; except in the hot summer days when it kicks on cooling. I’m usually disappointed when neither kick on automatically lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

When you remote start the car, if it's cold, seat heaters and cabin heater come on; if it's hot, seat coolers and A/C come on automatically. The manual even says the seat heater/cooler LEDs won't light up with this automatic activation, but they will be on when needed. Once you press the start button, they all turn off until you push the appropriate buttons. There is a wide temp range in the middle where neither heating nor cooling is activated automatically, so this can really only be tested in the winter or summer.

I had my update performed at the end of March. I didn't drive the car a lot until recently. I have noticed that I need to pull the inside driver's door handle twice to get the door to open. The passenger door always worked this way, but the driver side always opened on the first pull. Additionally, I must push the door lock button on the driver's outside door handle twice for the doors to lock. It used to lock on the first push. These behaviors changed after the BCM update. Anyone else experience this?

I haven't experienced any of those issues, neither before nor after the update. Only one push or pull to open/unlock for me.

If so, my car has always been that way, before and after update. The button on the handle should just toggle to the opposite of what the lock state already is. So, if it's unlocked, one push should lock it. If it's locked, one push unlocks it. |

Yes I mean exactly what you said but before the update I only had to pull on the inside driver’s door handle once to unlock and open. Passenger side was always two pulls.
To lock from outside I have to push the outside button twice. Before the update it was only one push to lock. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thinking about it, I think the car is supposed to unlock the doors once put into park with e brake on.. I only have to do the "two pull open" if I do something like leaving the car running while getting out for a second, or I didn't put on my e brake/shut the car off before opening the door.. I'll have to do some testing to be sure of this though

Shortly after I had the update the engine light came on and my code reader indicated 732-734 codes which are for auto trans cars and I have a manual 6. Then I got the parking assist icon with wrench causing the gear indicator or back up camera to not work. Dealer said low voltage on battery caused a loss of communication and they cleared the codes. 9 miles later engine light came back on along with the paring assist icon etc. just like before. I told them I didn’t have any problems until after the recall was done they claim that couldn’t do it. I checked on here and sounds like others had issues but not quite like mine.
