Go with ARH, do it right the first time. You get what you pay for. Don't think of them as "expensive", think of the others as "cheap for a reason". Speed Engineering is a Chinese shell company, if "buying American" matters to you. I'd also be happy with Kooks or CSP.

I want to say 200. I had mbrp axle back b3fore this and it was pretty loud. But now with dual 3 inch I had to put some real mufflers on it. Still loud but a different loud, deeper for sure. I bought the cheapest stainless quad tip cat back on ebay and used the mufflers out of the system. For the money It looks and sounds really good

I have the Speed Engineering 2 inch headers and have had zero issues with them. Got their plug wires with the headers and all is good there as well.

I'm running Texas speed 1 7/8 with high flow cats. No fitment issues, no emissions issues.

Ditto, they're perfect. Mine have their standard ceramic coating option, too, which lessens radiant heat spectacularly.

I will say that 1) installation is best done by someone with experience (unlike yours truly), and 2) the passenger side header does route close to the starter, but there is still enough of an air gap, I've never had an issue warm or hot starting the car.

New question. I think I read somewhere that pray said that TSP headers make a little more power. Anyone have any feedback on power differences? From what I’ve read, size can matter but also the length of the primaries can make a difference. Long primaries = move power band up (tsp seems to be the longest) and shorter primaries (maybe CSP or Kooks) delay the power band.

Cool

I am running the ARH 2.0" primaries and they fit perfectly. No need to remove the steering shaft or the starter, went right in. I did move the right side brake line and wrapped it with heat shield. So far the car is quiet, makes 780whp and 807 lb/ft of torque with the stock cam and SC... so I must be doing something right!

The difference is negligible, if at all at stock-ish LT1 power levels. I wouldn't pick headers based on this.

all long tube headers gain the same on a basic bolt-on LT1 as Jason mentioned. It has been dyno tested. ARH nor Kooks make more power than Speed Engineering. If you want a quality header at a more reasonable price, look up the new LTH headers. Said to be ARH quality for around 1200.00.

Man that's a pretty nice set with cats. I wonder how well their cats will hold up, only adds a couple hundo to the setup and if it will even keep an engine light off?

You need to select the cat option for actual pricing. Track only with connection pipes =1395.00, High flow cat setup = 1890.00, GESI = 2460.00.

You will want the GESI cats if making a good amount of power. For NA I would think the standard High flow would be fine.

They look good but no info on what “titan coating” really is or what cel the high flow cats are. Went to put them in my cart and they wanted $175 for shipping.
With discount code I can get these kooks for $1359 shipped.
